RED BLUE MWDM

C-LIGHT RED BLUE MWDM is a medium wavelength division multiplexing technology based on red-blue band partitioning, dividing the spectrum into red bands (longer wavelengths, e.g., 1547–1561 nm) and blue bands (shorter wavelengths, e.g., 1530–1543.2 nm) to enable single-fiber bidirectional transmission or wavelength-specific management. Utilizing thin-film filtering for wavelength separation, it achieves low insertion loss and high isolation, optimizing fiber resource utilization while reducing deployment costs. This technology is suited for metropolitan and backbone networks, balancing transmission capacity and system complexity.
